Their first effort to become known was through the internet and a few radio stations in the USA, where the audience could hear Spanish.

Zoé recorded and produced their first homonymous album that came out in 2001 and gained Sony Music’s attraction. After their first contract, they recorded “Rocanlover” that was released in May of 2003, with twelve new songs, including mixed English and Spanish lyrics. In 2004 the group broke up with Sony and after following a tour, they return to the studio. Zoé made a new contract with a Mexican label and continue writing songs, while they followed a tour in Mexico.

The group’s third album was “Memo Rex Commander y el Corazón Atómico de la Vía Láctea” that came out in the summer of 2006, containing the hits "Vía Láctea" and "No Me Destruyas". It became platinum later in Mexico and after its success, Zoé made several live appearances in famous venues like National Auditorium and Palacio de los Deportes and played next to artists such as Nick McCarthy and Gustavo Cerati.”Reptilectric” was their following album in October of 2008, which became their second platinum album in Mexico (also no. 1 on the Mexican charts). The group continued touring in the USA, Latin America and also in Spain, where they launched a compilation album that included their best hits and a couple of different versions, in collaboration with Spanish musicians.

Zoé won two “Latin Grammy Awards” in 2011, the “Best Alternative Music Album” for their “MTV Unplugged: Música de Fondo” live album and the “Best Rock Song” for “Labios Rotos”. Their next studio album “Prográmaton” came out in October of 2013 and it was followed by a promotion tour.
