Tim McGraw tickets & concert schedule

Tim McGraw was born in 1967, in Delhi, Louisiana and he has various ancestries, especially from his father's side. His full name is Samuel Timothy McGraw, he grew up in North Louisiana and he discovered his biological father when he was eleven. He used to play baseball, but he didn’t follow a career, because of an injury. He made his first steps in music when he went to Jacksonville with his mother in 1987, where he joined some small bands, and two years later he moved to Nashville.

When he wrote his first demo, with his father’s help, he made his first contract and he released his homonymous first album in 1993. It was followed by “Not a Moment Too Soon”, in March of 1994, which topped the USA album chart, including five songs that entered the top 10 on the country charts in the USA. Among its hits are the songs “Not a Moment Too Soon”, “Indian Outlaw”, “Take the Girl” and McGraw later won his first awards in the Academy of Country Music. In 1995, his next album named “All I Want” became also no. 1 on the same chart, with the song “I Like It, I Love It” topping also the USA and Canada charts. After the success of the album, McGraw joined “The Spontaneous Combustion Tour”, supported by Faith Hill.

McGraw continued with the album “Everywhere” in 1997, which contained another four singles that entered at the top of the country charts, while the duet “It’s Your Love” gained four Academy of Country Music Awards and “Everywhere” became the country “Album of the Year”. McGraw’s last album of the 90’s was “A Place in the Sun”, which also reached the top of the charts, including another four no. 1 hits. McGraw took part in the Bob Wills tribute album “Ride With Bob” which won a Grammy later and he wrote two duets with her wife Faith Hill, for her upcoming albums.

In the following decades, McGraw recorded another 10 successful studio albums, which almost all of them reached the top of the country album charts (only 2002’s “Tim McGraw and the Dancehall Doctors” that peaked at the second place and 2015’s “Damn Country Music” that peaked at no. 3 didn’t achieve it). McGraw’s best two decades were undoubtedly the 90’s and the 2000’s, where he had eight albums that were certificated at least one time platinum, while he has released many greatest hits and compilation albums during his career. From the year 2000, he has toured the most times next to Faith Hill and he has also followed an acting career, participating in 10 movies and several TV shows.
