T-Pain is an American musician who was born in 1985, in Tallahassee, Florida and his real name is Faheem Rasheed Najm. From the age of ten, he began writing and recording his own songs in his bedroom. In 2004, while he was in a hip hop group, he covered Akon’s “Locked Up” and when the latest listened to it, he offered him his first contract.

T-Pain’s first album “Rappa Ternt Sanga” came out in 2005 and became gold later, containing the hits “I’m Sprung” and “I’m N Luv (Wit a Stripper)” (with Mike Jones). The second album was “Epiphany”, that came out in 2007 and managed to reach the top of the album chart, including the also no. 1 hit “Buy U a Drank”, a collaboration with Yung Joc and “Bartender”, with Akon’s participation.

After the success of “Epiphany”, T-pain collaborated with many artists such as R. Kelly in Bow Wow’s “I’m a Flirt”, Chris Brown in “Kiss Kiss”, Flo Rida in “Low” and other. His cooperation with Kanye West in his song “Good Life” game T-Pain his first Grammy Award (Best Rap Song). His next album was “Three Ringz” in November of 2008, including also collaborations with various artists. It peaked at no. 4 on the USA album chart and among its hits is the song “Can’t Believe It”.

T-Pain continued working with other artists and he also appeared in a lot of live TV shows, two of them performing next to Ludacris, while he recorded a mixtape along with Lil Wayne, as “T-Wayne”. After the release of three new singles that reached mid success, he took part in the song “We Are the World 25 for Haiti”. Before his fourth album “Revolver” comes out, T-Pain released a few mixtapes and participated in several hits, like DJ Khalid’s “All I Do Is Win”, Pitbull’s “Hey Baby (Drop It to the Floor)”, Wiz Khalifa’s “Black and Yellow” (which topped the charts) and many more, while he also appeared in a couple of TV shows. He won his second Grammy Award for Jamie Foxx’s “Blame It” and finally, “Revolver” was released in December of 2011, with the songs “5 O’Clock” (with Wiz Khalifa and Lily Allen) and “Best Love Song” (with Chris Brown) to separate.

After his first greatest hits album, he appeared in a few movies, including “Furious 7” in 2015 and until the release of “Oblivion”, his fifth album in 2017, he continued the cooperations with Lil Yachty, Bruno Mars and others.
