Papa Roach tickets & concert schedule

Papa Roach were created, when Jacoby Shaddix (vocals) met Dave Buckner (drums)on school and along with Jerry Horton (guitar), Will James (bass) and Ben Luther (trombone) took part in a music talent show, in 1993, in Vacaville, California. Two months later, Luther abandoned the line-up, but they continued performing in several live events. After their first EP named "Potatoes for Christmas", Ryan Brown took Buckner's place, until the latest finishes his art studies. Later Tobin Esperance became the new bassist since James couldn't follow the band.

Among the five EPs that the band recorded, they released their first album named "Old Friends from Young Years" in February of 1997. They made a new contract and their first album named "Infest" came out in April of 2000. It is characterized by its nu metal and rap metal sound and reached no. 5 on the US Billboard 200, containing the hits "Last Resort" and "Between Angels and Insects". They began touring next to Limp Bizkit, Eminem, Linkin Perk and others and they took part in the Ozzfest of 2001. Their next album was "Lovehatetragedy" that peaked at the second place of the US charts and contained the song "She Loves Me Not". It was followed by "Getting Away with Murder" in the summer of 2004, a different album with a more alternative and hard rock sound, that became platinum later.

After their first live album "Papa Roach: Live & Murderous in Chicago", the band returned from touring and recorded "The Paramour Sessions" that came out in 2006, containing the songs "Scars" and "...To Be Loved". During the band's next tour that included live performances with bands like Guns N' Roses, Buckner left the band and replaced by Tony Palermo. They continued with EP releases and more tours with Mötley Crüe, Buckcherry, Seether and other big bands while their sixth album "Metamorphosis" came out in 2009.

In the following years, Papa Roach recorded one live, one compilation and four studio albums, including songs like "Face Everything and Rise", "Born for Greatness", "Help" and other. They have also been nominated for two Grammy Awards in 2001.
