Ozzy Osbourne tickets & concert schedule

Ozzy Osbourne was born in 1948, in Birmingham, England and he acquired the nick Ozzy, since his first years in school. He joined school theatrical performances and when he began listening to Beatles he decided to deal with a music career. His real name is John Michael Osbourne and after he abandoned school when he reached 15, he started working in various jobs.

He formed Black Sabbath, along with Geezer Butler, Tony Iommi and Bill Ward in 1968, which is regarded as one of the pioneer heavy metal bands with a huge history until 2017. During Ozzy's years with the band, although there were many tensions and controversies (he was fired in 1979 and returned in 1997, while he had litigation with Iommi for the band's name rights during 2009-2010), he recorded 9 studio albums and he took part in numerous concerts and live events.

After he was dismissed by Black Sabbath due to his continuous conflicts with the other members and his drug addictions in 1978, he followed his solo career and released his first album named "Blizzard of Ozz" in 1980, with Randy Rhoads on guitar, Lee Kerslake on drums, Bob Daisley on bass and Don Airey on keyboards. The album reached no. 7 on the UK Albums Chart, including the hits "Crazy Train" and "Mr. Crowley". It was followed by "Diary of a Madman" one year later. Tommy Aldridge took Kerslake's place and Ruzy this of Daisley, while Rhoads died in an aircraft accident in 1982.

After a couple of guitarists, Brad Gillis took part in the release of the successful live album "Speak of the Devil". Ozzy's third album "Bark at the Moon" came out in November of that year, with Jake E. Lee on guitar and Don Airey on keyboards. It contains the hit "Bark at the Moon". It was followed by "The Ultimate Sin" in 1986, with the song "Shot in the Dark" to separate. The album became two times platinum in 1994. Lee left Ozzy's group in 1987 and with a new line up, Ozzy recorded "Rest for the Wicked" that came out in 1988 and became gold later.

Ozzy's next successful album "No More Tears" came out in 1991, including the songs "I Don't Want to Change the World" (its live edition gave Ozzy later a Grammy Award) and " Mama, I'm Coming Home". Ozzy's seventh solo album was "Ozzmosis" that came out in 1995 and became two times platinum in the USA, four years later. Ozzy's wife Sharon Arden with help of his son Jack, was the creator of Ozzfest, a festival tour around the USA and some countries in Europe, which became one of the most famous fests in the world, staying still active.

Ozzy released another two successful albums during the 2000s, which hits like "Dreamer", "Gets Me Through" and "I Don't Wanna Stop". His last album was 2010's "Scream". During his solo career, he has released several live and compilation albums, he has taken part in numerous live events and he has collaborated with many great bands and artists. Ozzy has been inducted to "UK Music Hall of Fame" in 2005 and in the US "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" next year, while he has also received two "VH1 Rock Honors" and the "Living Legend" award, in 2008.
