Logic is the nickname of the American hip hop musician Sir Robert Bryson Hall II, who was born in 1990 in Rockville, Maryland. He grew up mainly in Gaithersburg. He didn’t manage to finish high school and when he became thirteen, he began dealing with hip hop music. He started to perform using the name “Psychological” and after he released “Psychological – Logic: The Mixtape” he followed a lot of famous rappers around Maryland as a supporting act.

After the release of another mixtape, Logic made a new contract and continue gaining fans through his next mixtapes named “Young Sinatra”(2011), “Young Sinatra: Undeniable” (2012) and “Young Sinatra: Welcome to Forever” (2013). He followed his first European tour in 2013 and later he performed in the USA in order to promote his last release. He shared the stage with artists such as Kid Cudi and Big Sean and with the band Krewella in 2014. His first album “Under Pressure” came out in October of that year, peaking at no. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart. It was followed by “The Incredible True Story” in November of 2015, which reached no. 3 on the Billboard 200 and topped both “Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums” and “Top Rap Albums” charts.

He followed a promotion tour and later he started a new one in America, with G-Easy as co-headliner. He released another successful mixtape (“Bobby Tarantino”) in 2016, while his third album “Everybody” came out in May of 2017, reaching the top of three American charts, including the Billboard 200. Apart from the synonymous song, it contained the hit “1-800-273-8255” which reached the third position on Billboard Hot 100. The album contained collaborations with artists like Killer Mike, Alessia Cara, Khalid and others, while it became platinum later. He continued with the mixtape “Bobby Tarantino II” which also topped the charts and his next album named “YSIV” came out in September of 2018. It peaked at the second place of the charts, featuring also a lot of rappers.

Logic’s recent album named “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind” came out in May of 2019 and has already reached the top of the US album charts.
