Lady Antebellum tickets & concert schedule

Lady Antebellum started when Charles Kelley persuaded his fellow classmate, Dave Haywood to visit him in Nashville, Tennessee, in order to begin writing country songs together. Hilary Scott met Kelley later and joined them, forming the new band, in 2006. The band's name came up from antebellum architecture and their photo shoot in houses of that style.

After the band's formation, their first work was with Jim Brickman, with whom they sang the hit "Never Alone" in 2007, while later they wrote a song for "The Hills", an MTV TV series. Lady Antebellum released their homonymous album in April of 2008. It was the first by a group entering at no. 1 on the US country charts (it became platinum later), while the song "Love Don't Live Here" peaked at the third place. They took part in a sporting compilation album and in the summer of 2009, the song "I Run to You" became their first no. 1 on the charts.

The band's second album came out in early 2010 and reached no. 1 on both Top country and Billboard 200 charts, becoming also platinum later. It contains three singles that also entered at the first position, "Need You Know", "American Honey" and "Our Kind of Love". They made several live appearances, including American Idol and Country Music Awards. Their next album, "Own the Night", came out in September of 2011 and topped in the USA, while the song "Just a Kiss", became their fifth reaching no. 1 on the country charts.

"Golden" was the name of the band's next album, that came out in 2013 and contained the hits "Downtown" and "Compass". It was followed by "747" in 2014, with the song "Bartender" to separate. After the end of the "Wheels Up Tour", Kelley dealt with his first solo album, while Scott released an album along with her family. Lady Antebellum were among the bands that were chosen to join the 50th anniversary of the CMA Awards, performing on "Forever Country". Their seventh album came out in the summer of 2017, under the name "Heart Break". The album won a nomination for the Grammy Awards, as did the song "You Look Good".

The band's history, apart from the albums, contains a lot of collaborations, supporting acts and various awards, such as 7 Grammy Awards, 4 American Music Awards, 6 Country Music Association Awards and more.
