Knocked Loose is a hardcore punk and metalcore music group which started in 2013 from Oldham County, Kentucky, although according to the band’s singer, the members had begun playing together a couple of years before. Knocked Loose’s formation consists of Bryan Garris (vocals), Cole Crutchfield (rhythm guitar), Isaac Hale (lead guitar), Kevin Kaine (drums) and Kevin Otten (bass).
Their first release was the EP “Pop Culture” which came out in 2014, while their first album was recorded after they made a new label contract. The first song from the album was “Oblivions Peak”. The album named “Laugh Tracks” came out in September of 2016, including eleven tracks. About one year later, the group released its first music video and later followed Every Time I Die to their tour around the USA. They also joined the “Vans Warped Tour” of the same year.
In 2018, Knocked Loose began their first US tour as headliners, while they later supported Parkway Drive and Thy Art is Murder in Europe. Their most recent release is the EP “Mistakes Like Fractures” which came out in April of 2019. Knocked loose belongs to the groups that are regarded as the pioneers of the metalcore revival wave which started almost at the end of the 2010s.
