Khalid tickets & concert schedule

Khalid is an R&B singer who was born in 1998, in Fort Stewart, a census-designated place in Georgia, USA. His full name is Khalid Donnel Robinson and he used to change many places because his mother was working for the US Army. He studied music in high school and he began writing his own music, while he went to live in El Paso with his family later.

Khalid’s music work started to be noticed when he used to upload his songs to online audio platforms. His first release was the song “Location” which entered the top twenty on the US charts, as well as the single “Young Dumb & Broke”. He collaborated with artists such as Alina Baraz, Kendrick Lamar and Logic, while he began “The Location Tour” in 2017. Khalid’s first album named “American Teen” came out in March of that year, peaking at no. 4 on the US album charts. It became two times platinum and won a Grammy nomination later (“Location won one more). Two songs from the album were featured in a TV-series and a movie respectively, while Khalid continued working with Post Malone, Lorde and other musicians. The songs “Love Lies” with Normani from the movie “Love, Simon” and Benny Blanco’s “Eastside” with Halsey in 2018, both entered at the top 10 of the US charts.

Khalid followed his “Roxy Tour” at the beginning of 2018 and his first EP named “Suncity” came out in October of that year. It reached the eight position on the charts and it was followed by his second album “Free Spirit”, which came out in April of 2019. It topped the American album charts and contains the hits “Better” and “Talk”. Khalid’s “Free Spirit World Tour”, is set to begin in the summer.
