Kelly Clarkson tickets & concert schedule

Kelly Clarkson was born in 1982, in Fort Worth, Texas and her ancestry is from six different countries. After finishing her studies, she began working in many jobs, in order to record and promote her first demos. She went to Los Angeles and after having performed in a couple of TV series, she collaborated with Gerry Goffin in five demos, but she couldn't find any opportunity and returned to Burleson.

After her friends persuaded her to join the American Idol TV series, Kelly Brianne Clarkson (it's her full name) managed to enter the competition, which she won in 2002, earning at the same time her first contract. Her first hits were "Before Your Love" and "A Moment Like This" and her first album "Thankful", came out in April of 2003. The album which is characterized by its pop and R&B style, contains a lot of collaborations and reached the top of the US chart. The hit "Miss Independent" became famous worldwide and entered the top 10 charts in five countries.

Clarkson took part in the "World Idol" competition that was held on Christmas Day of 2003 and won the second place. Her second album "Breakaway", with more pop and rock sound, came out in late 2004, containing the song "Since U Been Gone". The album was a very big success, becoming the third most selling album of 2005. Clarkson won two Grammy Awards and two MTV Video Music Awards for "Since U Been Gone" and later for "Because of You", in two consecutive years.

Clarkson continued performing in various live shows and events, including the 2006 Winter Olympics and the 2005 NBA All-Star Game, while she appeared in two more TV series. Her next album, "My December", came out in 2007, entering at the second place of the US chart. She later worked with Reba McEntire for the country version of "Because of You". Clarkson's fourth album "All I Ever Wanted", came out in 2009, also reaching the top of the charts, with the song "My Life Would Suck Without You" to separate (no. 1 in five countries).

Clarkson's country song "Don't You Wanna Stay" along with Jason Aldean, which became no. 1 on the American country chart, has the most sales in the history of country music collaborations. Her next album, "Stronger", that contains a lot of country elements, became platinum and won Clarkson's next Grammy Award for "Best Pop Vocal Album". Its most successful songs are "Mr. Know It All" and "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)" which became no. 1 in 16 American charts.

In the following years, apart from the collaborations, the several tours and live performances, Clarkson released "Greatest Hits - Chapter One" and the Christmas album "Wrapped in Red", along with another two successful studio albums. She also appeared in many shows and TV series, while she wrote two children's books and her voice was used in animated films.
