Keane is an english rock band that started in 1995 and got its name in 1997. It consisted of 5 members who remained 4 after Dominic Scott left the band in 2001. The first two albums released - “hopes and fears” and “under the iron sea” - have reached very high worldwide with huge sales. The first album was a huge success in the UK in 2004, while the second album sold 220000 copies. In 2008 they released their third album with the title “Symmetry”.

In 2008, their album “hopes and fears” and “under the iron sea” was voted by Q magazine readers as one of the best albums.
