Jessie J tickets & concert schedule

Jessie J was born in 1988, in Redbridge, London. When she was young she had a role in "The Late Sleepers", that was produced by the National Youth Music Theatre. Her full name is Jessica Ellen Cornish and when she was 15 she took part in the music show "Britain's Brilliant Prodigies", winning the Best pop Singer award. One year later she joined BRIT school, while when she was 17 became a member of Soul Deep, a female band.

Her first success was as a songwriter when she earned a contract with Sony/ATV. She joined Cyndi Lauper's tour in 2008, while she wrote songs for Miley Cyrus and Chris Brown. She left Soul Deep and started to record her first album in 2005. After the release of her first successful singles, "Do It Like a Dude" and "Price Tag", both having been written with other artists, her first album named "Who You Are", came out in February of 2011. The album debuted at no. 2 in the Official Albums Chart in the UK and entered at the top ten in a lot of countries. Because of a problem in her foot that came up while she was preparing for her following live appearances, she had to perform sitting on a throne, during 2011.

She collaborated with James Morrison and her song "Domino" became later her first to enter the top 10 in the USA charts. Jessie J's next single, "Laserlight" (ft. David Guetta) became her sixth in a row to enter the top 10 of the UK charts, a record that she shares with artists such as Michael Jackson and other. Among her live appearances was the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Summer Olympics. "Alive" was her second album that came out in 2013 and contained the songs "Wild" and "It's My Party".

Her next album, "Sweet Talker", came out almost one year later, including "Bang Bang", a song that was recorded with Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande. The song peaked at no. 1 on the UK charts, while it reached the sixth position in the USA. After three new singles and a promotion tour for her fourth album, "R. O. S. E." that came out later in May of 2018, Jessie J won Singer 2018, a TV-Series music competition in China. She released also a Christmas album, under the name "This Christmas Day".
