Jess Glynne was born in 1989 in the area of Hampstead in London and her full name is Jessica Hannah Glynne. She grew up in the district of Muswell Hill and after an attempt to join the TV music competition The X Factor, Glynne finished her studies, while she traveled in many places and completed her artistry.

After following a music course for about one year in London, she met a few musicians and managers with whom she began working together later. After she made her first contract in 2013, Glynne collaborated with Route 94 in the song “My Love” which topped the UK Singles Chart. She joined Clean Bandit to the studio for the song “Rather Be” which also reached the top of the charts in a lot of countries, bringing to Glynne the “Best Dance Recording” Grammy Award. Her first single was “Right Here” in 2014, which peaked at no. 6 on the English single charts. She appeared in several music fests and worked with groups and artists such as Little Mix, Iggy Azalea, Rita Ora and others.

Glynne’s first album named “I Cry When I Laugh” came out in August of 2015 and reached the top of both UK and Scottish album charts, while it peaked at no. 25 on the US Billboard 200. Among its hits apart from “Right Here” where the songs “Hold My Hand” (no. 1 in the UK), “Real Love” - the second collaboration with Clean Bandit - and “Don't Be So Hard on Yourself” (no. 1 in almost 5 countries). Glynne continued the successes with the collaboration with Tinie Tempah in “Not Letting Go”, one more no. 1 hit in the UK. “I Cry When I Laugh” became three times platinum, while she started her first UK tour in 2016.

Glynne began working on her second album from the end of 2016, while she took part in Rudimental’s hit “These Days”, which reached the first place on the UK charts in March of 2018. Her second album “Always In Between” came out in October of 2018, entering at the top of the UK album charts. It included the hits “I'll Be There” (her seventh no. 1 single), “Thursday” and “All I Am” and became platinum. She followed a worldwide tour in November of that year while she appeared next to the Spice Girls in 2019.

Glynne’s music style is something between pop, R&B, soul and house with dance elements and some of her most important influences were Amy Winehouse, Frank Ocean, Whitney Houston, Adele and many more.
