James Blake tickets & concert schedule

James Blake, started his music career, after learning piano when he was young before he graduates from the University of London. He was born in London, in 1988, as James Blake Litherland. He used to record his first songs in his bedroom and after the release of his first EP, Gilles Peterson (DJ) called him to perform live in one of his shows.

After two more EP's in 2010, "Klavierwerke" and "CMYK", several DJs played some of his songs, while his cover to one of indie pop singer Feist's song, entered in the top 50 of the UK charts. A lot of nominations and an award at Gilles Peterson's Worldwide Awards followed while some of his songs were included in various lists. His homonymous album "James Blake", came out in February of 2011 and he began performing in live shows. Another two EPs followed, with R&B characteristics, in contrast with the more electronic sound of "CMYK".

In the beginning of 2012, Blake worked with Kanye West, Justin Vernon and later with rapper Trim. Almost one year later, the album "Overgrown" came out, containing collaborations with RZA and producer Brian Eno, while later won the "Mercury Prize". Blake started to work on his third album and his next release was the song "Modern Soul" in February of 2016. He collaborated with Beyoncé in the song "Lemonade" and his album finally came out in a few months later, under the name "The Colour in Anything".

After several more collaborations with artists such as Jay-Z and Kendrick Lamar, two new singles were presented in 2018. "If the Car Beside You Moves Ahead" in early 2018 and "Don't Miss It" that was included in his next album. He continued working with various artists and after a tour in North America, "Assume Form", finally came out in the beginning of 2019.
