Drake started as an actor and his first role was in teen TV series at the age of 15. Born as Aubrey Drake Graham, in 1986, in Toronto, Ontario, Drake has both U.S. and Canadian nationality. Due to his parents' divorce, he moved to a couple of regions in Toronto, while his father used to bring him in Memphis, Tennessee each summer.

He began experimenting in music and released a couple of mixtapes, working with artists Trey Songz, Lupe Fiasco and Lil Wayne later. His next work, "So Far Gone" included his first hits, with the song "Best I Ever Had" entering at a high position on the US charts. It was the reason why "So Far Gone" became an EP and reached sixth place on the charts. After he overcame an accident on stage, he managed to release "Thank Me Later" in the summer of 2010, with the hits "Find Your Love" and "Over" to separate. The album, which contains collaborations with great artists such as Alicia Keys, Nicki Minaj, Jay-Z and Lil Wayne and other, topped three categories in the USA, one in the UK (UK Albums Chart) and one in Canada (Canadian Albums Chart).

Drake continued touring around Canada and the U.S.A., while he dealt with his music career and his career as an actor at the same time. His next album, "Take Care", includes the hits "Headlines", "Make Me Proud" and others. Also, the video for "HYFR" won the "Best Hip-Hop Video", in 2012's MTV Video Music Awards. His next work was "Nothing Was the Same", with the top hit " Hold On, We're Going Home". The album reached the top apart from the USA, in the UK, Canada, Australia and Denmark.

Several tours and live shows followed, along with two successful mixtapes (one with rapper Future) and two studio albums, including his fourth one, which was named "Views" and became Drake's top-selling album, with many important collaborations and one American Music Award for "Favorite Album Rap/Hip-Hop", in 2016. His next album, "Scorpion", that came out in the summer of 2018, was also a big success, becoming number one in a lot of countries and winning a nomination for the 61st Grammy Awards.
