Christone Ingram was born in 1999 in Clarksdale, Mississippi and from a very young age, he became an admirer of blues music. He learned three musical instruments and he used to play in several small bars and live venues. When he grew up, he began taking part in live shows, next to various guitarists and he started making his impact in the music industry.
Ingram’s first important live performance was in 2014 when he played at the White House as a member of a music group from Delta Blues Museum. He also appeared as a guest in a couple of American TV shows in 2015. He continued playing in fests and live events, while in 2017 he participated in “Middle Of The Road”, an album by the American guitarist Eric Gales. He sang next to Samantha Fish and he started a collaboration with Tom Hambridge for his upcoming debut album that is expected to come out in the Spring of 2019.
In 2018, Ingram was chosen for a cameo role in the second season of Luke Cage TV series where he sang two famous songs including “I Put A Spell On You”, as part of the original soundtrack of the series. During the same year, Ingram appeared in two more blues festivals and in August of 2019 he will follow Vampire Weekend as a special guest, to their “Father of the Bride Tour”.
