Celine Dion tickets & concert schedule

Céline Dion, was born in 1968, in Charlemagne, Quebec. Manager René Angélil was thrilled by Céline Marie Claudette Dion 's (her full name) voice and produced her first album, " La voix du bon Dieu", in 1981. The album made Dion a rising star, not only in Canada but also in other countries.

Dion won her first awards, including 1988's first place in Eurovision, where she represented Switzerland with the song "Ne partez pas sans moi". She perfected her English, made changes to her appearance and released her first album in English, "Unison" in 1990, after the first eight in her native language. The song "Where Does My Heart Beat Now" became her first success in the USA.

Dion's first international hit was her duet with Peabo Bryson for the animated movie "Beauty and the Beast, which awarded her with the " Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals", at the Grammy Awards in 1993. Her second album in English, the homonymous "Celine Dion", came out in 1992 and became double platinum in the USA. The song "If You Asked Me To", entered at the top 10 on the US charts, after becoming no. 1 in Canada.

Dion and Angélil got married in 1994. The album "The Colour of My Love", that came out on November of 1993, became Dion's most successful and topped the charts in countries all over the world, with the hit "The Power of Love" (the original from Jennifer Rush) becoming no. 1 in the USA, Canada and Australia. After many cooperations and various projects, Dion was awarded for the third time as "World's Best-selling Female Recording Artist of the Year" and her later album, "Falling Into You", in 1996, became one of the best-selling albums in history, with top hits such as "Because You Loved Me", "It's All Coming Back" and "All by Myself" (the original from Eric Carmen).

1997's "Let's Talk About Love", was another huge success, including a lot of hits, such as the duet "Tell Him" with Barbra Streisand, "Immortality" (a collaboration with Bee Gees), even the song "I Hate You Then I Love You" with Luciano Pavarotti. It also topped the charts in many countries and became ten times platinum in the USA. Dion's hit "My Heart Will Go On" for the movie "Titanic", won an Oscar and a Golden Globe for "Best Original Song", while the album gave her two more Grammy Awards.

Dion's music career was interrupted when she was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. She became a mother in 2001 and returned for the concert "America: A Tribute to Heroes", after the September 11 incident. After several live shows, she released "A New Day Has Come", in 2002, with the homonym hit. She continued taking part in benefit concerts and in 2003, their eighth English album, "One Heart" came out, receiving mixed critics. Six more albums followed, along with many live shows and tours. In 2010, Dion gave birth to twins. She tragically lost both her husband and her brother of cancer in 2016, while the next years she suffered from hearing malfunction.
