He returned in L.A. and he finally managed to attract an independent label company while he used to perform in small bars and clubs. One of his first songs was “Lose”, which he didn’t release that year. His first album “Golden Feelings” came out in 1993 while “Loser” was released as a single. It became an unexpected success and after that, Beck signed with a bigger label. His second album “Stereopathetic Soulmanure” came out in February of 1994 and was followed by “Mellow Gold” a few days later, which included Loser”. It contained various music genres, from alternative rock to country and lo-fi.

Beck performed his hits in several TV and radio shows, while his next two albums were “Mutations” which came out in 1998 and 1999's “Midnite Vultures”. Beck’s eight album named “Sea Change” came out in 2002 and reached no. 8 on the album charts.
